Decided to tackle my foggy headlights on a Saturday. The garage was a disaster, and all my cleaning clothes were dirty. Ended up digging out an old t-shirt - not exactly the best tool for the job! Let's just say my t-shirt cleaning skills need work (2 out of 10 stars!).
The headlights were super cloudy - hadn't cleaned them in forever (my wife usually handles that, but she was out). No proper cleaner on hand, so I used diluted dish soap. Funny thing - my neighbor borrowed a ladder halfway through, and we ended up chatting for ages about his treehouse plans!

My daughter's Honda Pilot sits in the hot Florida sun all day, and the headlights got foggy. I wanted to fix them, so I looked for a kit that would clean them and protect them for the long haul.

Here are some tips: Wash the headlights first, wear gloves when using the cleaning wipes, have a spray bottle of water for sanding (I used an empty Windex bottle!), and make sure the headlights are dry before applying the coating. I even used some leftover product to clean the third brake light - the sun didn't seem to affect the main brake lights.
