Nice fan at a good price

My vintage Jag was overheating like crazy, and I knew the stock fan wasn't cutting it. I wanted more power for my engine and less stress on the water pump, so I decided to upgrade to a proper electric fan.

At first, I was tempted by the cheap knock-offs, but after some research, I went with the Flex-A-Lite Syclone. It was a bit more expensive, but let me tell you, it was worth every penny! Just remember, this fan uses a good amount of power, so if you're putting it in an older car, you might need a stronger alternator.

Here's the magic: In my Jag, this fan cools things down super fast! At idle, it brings the temperature down to 70 degrees Fahrenheit in under a minute, then shuts itself off. I even paired it with a Flex-A-Lite adjustable fan controller, which is another awesome tool.

Overall, this is a fantastic product, especially for the price. Those cheap knock-offs might seem tempting, but I've heard nightmares about them falling apart at high speeds. The Flex-A-Lite Syclone is built to last – it's perfectly balanced and runs smooth as butter. Trust me, your car will thank you!

Keeps my high compression stroker motor nice and cool in LA traffic even while using the ...

My 1966 Mustang is all about customization, but that left me with almost no space for a new fan between the radiator and pulley. Big problem! I tried a different slim fan based on the size, but it melted down after 200 miles! Not cool.

So, I figured I'd take a chance on the Flex-A-Lite Syclone, mostly because Amazon returns are easy if it crapped out. Honestly, I only planned on using it until I found a fancy, expensive replacement.

Well, guess what? It's been a year and this fan is still going strong! It keeps my souped-up engine cool even in crazy LA traffic, even with the stock radiator. If this thing ever dies, I'd buy another one in a second. Amazing value for the price! Just remember, use the right size wire and a relay when you install it, and you should be good to go.

98 JEEP WRANGLER

Livin' in San Antonio with my trusty 4-cylinder Jeep Wrangler can get brutal in the summer. For years, my Jeep handled the heat okay, staying around 210 degrees even with the A/C blasting. But let me tell you, that A/C came at a cost! With the clutch fan running, my Jeep seriously struggled to keep up with traffic. No A/C, power was okay (even with 33-inch tires!), but forget cruising with the cool air on.

That's why I decided to ditch the clutch fan and try the Flex-A-Lite Syclone electric fan. Big difference! Now, with the A/C on, I don't feel any drag on the engine. It wants to take off! My Jeep still runs at a cool 210 degrees in August, even with the A/C blasting.

For anyone with a 4-cylinder Wrangler, swapping your clutch fan for an electric fan like the Syclone is a game-changer. I've done tons of mods to boost my horsepower, but this fan makes the biggest difference in everyday driving. Trust me, you won't regret it!

This Flex-A-Lite Syclone fan is awesome, and worth every cent! I'm using it to cool down a big block 454 engine in my '66 Impala, and it does the job perfectly. It pushes so much air through the radiator, it even cools the engine itself on top.

Now, it's not silent, but with that engine roaring, it's barely noticeable. I did test it before installing it though, and let me tell you, a rubber glove puffs up nice and tight on the other side of the radiator. This fan gets the job done!
